THE BUBBLE — After going down 2-0 in the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Boston Celtics. The defending NBA champs, the Toronto Raptors, have clawed back into the series without the Claw!!! As we all know, Kawhi Leonard is now with the Clippers. The Raptors won Game 3 to give them new life on an OG Annunoby buzzer beating 3-pointer. They then won Game 4 only to lose Game 5.
Well playas facing elimination in Game 6 they brought the noise in a double-overtime victory 125-122 over the C’s to force a Game 7.
If I’ve said it once I’ll say it again. This has been the best NBA Playoffs I’ve ever seen. The entertainment value right now is NUTS!!! We’d better enjoy it because it’ll never happen again in our lifetime.
Pandemic’s only come around once every 100 years right? The fact that we’re in a global pandemic has forced the NBA into the bubble. Therefore, taking away any travel that the teams have to do. It takes away any and all home-court advantages. It takes away all distractions like duns hanging out at the strip clubs and bars and getting into foolishness with outside duns. You can fill in the blanks on “outside duns” depending upon where your mind takes you.
For all of those reasons it’s been unbelievable to watch. The Miami Heat just dusted off the NBA’s best team in the regular season, the Milwaukee Bucks, 4-1 primarily because there was no home-court advantage and Milwaukee wasn’t what boyz thought that were in the first place. Jimmy Buckets and Co. did work.
The Lakers are up 2-1 on the Rockets right now and the Clip joint has Denver down 3-1. However, the games have been extremely competitive.
In my Terrell Owens voice, “Get Ya Popcorn Ready!” because this Game 7 between the Raptors and Celtics is about to be epic. Stop me when I start lyin’!
