LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla AKA THE BUBBLE — After losing Game 1 of their Eastern Conference first round match up to the Miami Heat. The Indiana Pacers looked to knot the series up with a better showing on Thursday afternoon. Before they could tie their shoes tight and sip the Gatorade good, Miami’s Duncan Robinson was shooting the lights out of the front end of their ride before they could park it. By the time the smoke cleared the Pacers were down 2-0 to the Heat after a 109-100 loss.

Robinson knocked down his first six shots, all from behind the arc. Ole boy was unconscious as he finished the day with 24 points shooting 7 of 8 from downtown. It was a Miami Heat playoff record for shooting threes in a playoff game. NUTS!!! He set a team-record 270 3’s in the regular season. So it was just a matter of time before he exploded.

He wasn’t by himself either. Goran Dragic dropped off 20 points, Jimmy Buckets gave them 18 and Tyler Herro held them down with 15 off the bench. Jae Crowder came through with 10 points on his way to Big Momma’s house.

All five Indiana starters finished in double figures led by Victor Oladipo’s 22 points. Vic was questionable after suffering an eye injury on Tuesday evening but found a way to lead his team. Both Myles Turner and Malcolm Brogdon contributed 17 apiece as TJ struggled from beyond the arc going 0-5 and settling on 14 points. Aaron Holiday finished with 12 points.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Po Pimp time now playa! “Do or Die!” Down 2-0 in the playoffs with there being no real home court advantage for either team. It’s gut check time!!! How will the Pacers answer the bell to keep from going fishing earlier than expected? Can they find the intestinal fortitude to get back into this series. We’ll find out Saturday at 3:30pm when Game 3 tips off.
