Now that the NBA season has tipped off again. Boyz are going nuts to even watch the pre-season games. In my Jay Graves voice, “It’s Hoop Season Playas!!”
As excited as I am for boyz to run up and down the floor again. I wouldn’t expect those that played in the Finals to be anywhere near a floor until February.
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Under normal circumstances the Finals would end the middle of June and the new season doesn’t typically start until 4 months later in the middle of October.
Therefore, since the Finals didn’t end until October 11th, I don’t expect to see duns like LeBron, AD and Jimmy Butler until February. It’s only fair!!
They’ve earned the right to sit because they made the Finals and the Lakers won all of the marbles. Let the rest of the teams and players run out there now. There aren’t any fans in the arenas right now so who cares if they play or not?
Nobody’s spent money on a ticket to take their kid to the game only to be disappointed by their favorite players not playing. This is the perfect time to get the rest that they need. Heck, I wouldn’t even trip if they didn’t practice every day.
Let the young boyz and new cats on the team get some experience. Cats like LeBron and AD should be sitting somewhere with their feet kicked up sippin’ on something nice. Stop me when I start lyin’!
