Why No.4 Ohio State shouldn’t get into the College Football Playoff! “In My Meek Mill Voice”

Now that we’ve come to the end of the rainbow in this college football season. Boyz are now politicking for final positions in the College Football Playoff and everybody is taking shots at No. 4 Ohio State and rightfully so.

Now that No.6 Florida has officially wet the bed and loss to terrible LSU on Saturday. They’ve got two losses and can no way get in. No.5 Texas A&M is sitting in the cut like we’ve only loss to the best team in America (Alabama) and Ohio State is sitting in front of us having played NOBODY and only 5 stinking games!

It doesn’t matter what happens in the SEC title game the committee isn’t going to push No.1 Alabama out of the Top 4 even if they lose. Bama would have to go out there and completely soil the mattress and lose by like 100 points not to get in.

If No.3 Clemson beats No.2 Notre Dame they’re in and would you still put Ohio State ahead of either one of them? No.

Notre Dame would have only one loss if they lose to Clemson. That’s still a better resume than Ohio State has right now.

Would it make sense to put the Buckeyes ahead of Texas A&M? No!! First of all, everybody else has played at least 8 games while Ohio State has only played 5. That in and of itself should take them out of the conversation.

Secondly during those 5 games they’ve played NOBODY!!!! Strength of schedule should mean something right? They’ve played dull Nebraska, so dull Penn State, extra dull Rutgers, decent Indiana with mild sauce on the side and haphazard Michigan State.

That isn’t enough to justify putting them in the mix with any of the aforementioned teams. If the Big Ten wanted to be in the conversation of playing for a national title they should have started the season when everyone else jumped in the water.

They started a month behind the ACC, SEC and Big 12 for good enough reason. However, you can’t play 5 games and expect now to play for a national title. Just be cool with being able to get somewhat of a season in and call it lovely.

It’s not fair to be sitting in a position to play for a title when you put in half of the work the other teams have already put in. It’s just that simple.

I thought that it was irresponsible for any of the schools to be playing football this fall. However, since they did, Ohio State can’t show up with only 5 games played against terrible teams and get into the playoff car.

In my Meek Mill voice, “It’s levels to this” and playing one game against a decent team in IU doesn’t give you the golden ticket to play for a national title. Not when everybody else has played more games and better competition.

Sure, Ohio State will play Northwestern for the Big Ten title this week but Northwestern is…well…Northwestern. They’ll beat the breaks off of them like they always do and it won’t change anybody’s mind on whether the Buckeyes deserve a shot at the Top 4 spot. I hope the committee wises up and leaves them out. Stop me when I start lyin’!
