INDIANAPOLIS — Everybody and their baby’s momma, Uncle LeRoy and Nate McMillan were worried about the trap game on Friday night when the Sacramento Kings came to town. The Pacers beat the burnin’ hot Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night in front of a sell out crowd on national television. Therefore, it was easy to believe that boyz would be feeling themselves when the lowly Kings pulled up.

Not a chance!!! Nate’s squad pulled up in the Big Body Chevy and took care of business beating Sacramento 119-105 with 7 players finishing in double figures. TJ Warren led the assault with 23 points, Myles Turner dropped off a smooth 17 as both Domantas Sabonis and TJ McConnell gave them 15 apiece. Just to make sure everyone was paying attention both Malcolm Brogdon and Doug McDermott dropped off 13 each on their way to Big Momma’s house.

Indiana shot the lights out of the gym in the first half getting to the break shooting 64 percent and leading 68-57. They were red hot and at one point even led by as many as 22 points in the third quarter.

It’s crazy to see how good this team has become with it’s balanced attack. On any given night any one player or multiple players can go off. Indiana improves to 20-9 overall winning their fifth straight game and they’ve yet to play with Victor Oladipo.

They’ve got fire power all over the floor and coming off of the bench. With Jeremy Lamb out with a sore right groin, Aaron Holiday started in his place and finished with 11 points as well. It’s going to be crazy when Oladipo gets back.

Having shooters everywhere is something that Indiana just didn’t have last year.

They’ve climbed one mountain this week by beating the Lakers now they’ve got the Milwaukee Bucks coming up on Sunday on the road and they aren’t playing around. The Bucks just handled their business on Thursday night by knocking off the Lakers giving them their second straight loss. Now it’s boot up time again for the Pacers. It should be fun to watch. Stop me when I start lyin’!
