Luck: “I’m not where I want to be.” So he’s not fooling with these boyz right now.

INDIANAPOLIS — Everybody’s freaking out because Andrew Luck has decided that it was in his best interested as a football player not to participate in at least two practices and maybe longer due to a calf strain. The veteran quarterback is not about to play around with this injury.

While speaking with ESPN’s Mike Wells on Tuesday he had this to say, “Yeah, you can say setback. I’m not where I want to be. I did not improve feeling-wise, pain-wise. This is something I vowed to myself after going through 2016-17. I would be, one, honest with myself about how I felt pain-wise with things. Two, honest with the people involved. Make sure we took the time about making good decisions going forward. I know I did not improve with the three practices.”

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Remember when Luck was battling through injuries during the 2016-17 season and he darn near ruined his career and his body? He was a walking emergency room and nobody seemed to care. All people wanted was to see the man on the field. The Colts’ offensive line couldn’t protect him and the fans just wanted him throwing touchdowns.

Well playas…fast forward two years and ole Andrew is not having it. If he’s not 100 percent or close to it he’s not fooling with it.

The Colts have announced that he will at least miss the opening pre-season game on August 8 at Buffalo. If I were him I wouldn’t play a lick of preseason football. That would give him at least 5 weeks to try to feel better. But later for some ole preseason foolishness. Jacoby Brissett is more than capable of handling the offense in his absence. Let him drive the Bentley for a few weeks until Luck is ready to lean the seat back and get it done. Stop me when I start lyin’!
