INDIANAPOLIS — It’s a miracle to get one child into the NBA but to have three playing in the world’s ultimate basketball league is darn near unheard of. Well playas…parents, Toya and Shawn Holiday, have three kids playing in the league and two of them are now doing work for the Indiana Pacers.

In 2018 Indiana drafted the youngest of the trio of outstanding hoopers with the same last name and DNA out of UCLA with their first round pick. On Tuesday they signed his older brother Justin to a one year deal worth $4.8 million. The 6’6″ defensive-minded wing played for both Chicago and Memphis last season averaging 10.5 points and 3.9 rebounds over 82 games.

Their brother, Jru Holiday, plays for the New Orleans Pelicans. Justin said while speaking with the media after being introduced that “They’ve added 7 years to their dad’s life because he and Aaron are now playing on the same team.” He went on to explain how his dad watches all of their games either live or on recordings. Then he has the nerve to travel to many of them too.

It’s amazing that three kids can come out of the same home and make it to the NBA. Stop me when I start lyin’!
