Kevin Durant left $57 million on the table with no guarantees that he’ll be the same player! “WHAT!!!?”

Both KD and Kyrie are headed to Brooklyn.

Everybody is going crazy over the fact that both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are headed to Brooklyn. The internet was on fire with the news of these two superstars headed to the home of Spike Lee, Jay-Z, Biggie, Lil’ Kim, Mos Def, and even freakin’ Barbara Streisand. I could name a hundred more cats from Brooklyn but you get my drift.

Everybody’s excited and giving them love but nobody’s asking the real question. Why did KD leave $57 million on the darn table to sign with Brooklyn instead of Golden State? He reached a four-year deal worth $164 million and left a five-year boy on the table worth $221 million in Oakland.

He’s not even going to play next year so that could have been $57 million just to rehab the Achilles bruh!! $57 million!!! Now I know that he’s trying to get some respect out here because boyz don’t really give him the love that he thinks that he should be getting in the streets. Why? Because of the sucker move of going to Golden State after he had them down 3-1 when he was in OKC with Young Russ and losing to them. Then jumping in the ride with them the following year.

They were already a championship team before he jumped in the car. So now he’s in his feelings about how cats view him. His insecurities keep pushing him out into the middle of the street making bad decisions. Those same insecurities caused him to run out in the street in Game 5 of the Finals and tear his darn Achilles too. So he figures at this point that it makes sense to start all over with a team that’s not a championship contender and build them into one.

Unfortunately, boyz are still going to see him in the same light. He’s the dun that jumped in the ride with the champions. He’ll forever be that dude. It’s like being a snitch in the hood. You can’t wash that off of you bruh. It is what it is.

Since you can’t wash it off it made no sense to leave $57 million on the table in Golden State. There is no scenario that makes sense in America to leave that type of bread on the table especially when you’ve got a serious injury that could change your future. He’s not playing next year anyway!!!! And who’s to say that he and Kyrie will be able to co-exist when he does come back? Who’s to say that Brooklyn will be worth a darn with them. You already know what you’ve got in Golden State and you know that you can win there because you’ve got firepower.

An Achilles injury is serious business. We don’t know how well he’s going to heal from that. He may not EVER be the same player again. So to leave $57 million in GUARANTEED money on the table is asinine. There’s no guarantee that he’ll get another big pay day either. As far as he knows this is it so why not take the bread and run? I’m just sayin’ and stop me when I start lyin’!
