KD Out for Game 4: The Warriors should stop telling folks he’s coming back because he’s not!

OAKLAND — The Golden State Warriors have announced that Kevin Durant is officially ruled out for Game 4 with a calf injury. My response to this announcement is “Stop with the foolishness!!!” Kevin Durant is out for the series and has been since the dun was initially injured on May 8.

It’s a freakin’ calf injury and doesn’t heal quickly and the only thing that can be done about it is to rest it, completely. He can’t run, jump or put very much pressure on the muscle. Therefore, he’s got to sit down and chill. For the last three games they’ve said that he may be coming back for the next game etc.

KD is not playing in this series I don’t care if it goes seven games. If, and that’s a HUGE IF, he comes back he’ll be in no shape to compete. Why? Because he hasn’t done anything for more than a month. You can’t sit for that long, then jump out in the street, run with the big dawgs and not get run over. I don’t care who he is.

This is the NBA not the over 40 rec league down at the YMCA. These players are machines that they are in unbelievable shape. KD hasn’t had physical activity in darn near 30 days. Stop telling me that he’s coming back.

And let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Isn’t this a contract year for him? He isn’t about to jump out in the middle of the street with cars moving 100 mph when his can only go 45 mph with a bad rear tire. He’s not about to risk further injury and mess his money up going forward. Ain’t gone happen. So stop telling folks that he’s coming back because he’s not. It’s virtually impossible for him to come back from a physical standpoint for just stop it. Stop me when I start lyin’!

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.
