Well playas….we all know that the New England Patriots pride themselves on being the team that keeps their noses to the grind. Their motto has always been that NOBODY is bigger than the team. However, they’ll do almost anything win. Spygate, Deflategate, you name it. They’ve done it all to get an edge to win the ultimate prize, the Super Bowl Championship. It’s worked 6 times so they keep going to the well trying to hustle the rest of the league around getting an edge.
Over the weekend they pulled the ultimate hustle on Oakland by already having a deal in place not one hour after Antonio Brown was released from the Raiders. Now you already know that they had to have been hollering at him before he was released in order to get the deal done that quickly but we’ll never be able to prove it. However, the scam may have just blown up in their faces.
Antonio Brown acted a big enough fool to get released from Oakland to land in New England on Monday with a 1-year deal worth up to $15 million with $10 million of it GUARANTEED. However, just as he was waiting on the ink to dry on the contract. Ole boy was hit with a $75K civil lawsuit alleging that he’d raped his trainer, Britney Taylor.
Now all of that foolishness he did to get to New England may have been a waste of everybody’s time. At least until all of the allegations are sorted out and the NFL figures out what to do with this, well, foolishness.
Any time there is an unwanted distraction it’s foolishness and that’s something that New England of all places doesn’t want. Whether you believe this incident occurred or not is irrelevant. There’s a lawsuit on the table and Antonio Brown has to deal with it and the Patriots are tied to him like and anchor right now.
The lawsuit alleges that the first incident happened in June of 2017 when Taylor says Brown exposed himself and kissed her without consent at one of his homes in Pittsburgh. A month later while at his home in Miami she alleges that Brown masturbated near her without her knowledge and ejaculated on her back. Then ole boy bragged about it in a series of text messages. In May of 2018, after a night of hanging out at a Miami night club, Taylor says she went back to his crib to use the bathroom and grab some food. She says that Brown “forced her down onto a bed, pushed her face into the mattress, and forcibly raped her.”
Now of course he denies all of these allegations but here’s the problem. Whether he denies them or not they’re on the table and it’s now a distraction for the New England Patriots. The very team that doesn’t want to talk about anything at a media availability.
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Don’t feel sorry for the Patriots because they knowingly jumped on bed with a cat that doesn’t make good decisions. We saw the foolishness he pulled in Pittsburgh when he started acting like he was bigger than the team when he went “live on Facebook” a couple of years ago from the locker room with his head coach speaking with the team. Y’all remember that. It’s been down hill ever since. He continued to act a fool and the Steelers eventually cut ties with him. He went to Oakland and showed his butt and the dun hasn’t been in New England 5 minutes and now this!!
When you have a person that has a history of making bad decisions you never know what’s going to pop up. If he get’s suspended for 6 or 8 games the Patriots are the ones left holding the trick bag when they thought that they were hustling the NFL by signing him in the first place. Karma is REAL playa!!! Let me say this again, it doesn’t matter what you believe the allegations in the lawsuit or not. It’s a distraction that no team wants to deal with especially the Patriots. Stop me when I start lyin’!
