Why Kawhi going to the Clippers was a bigger POWER move than LeBron ever made! “But Nobody’s Hatin'”

Now that everybody’s had a chance to settle down and absorb the news that Kawhi Leonard and Paul George have teamed up to go to the Clippers. Where are the haters? It’s 2019 and NBA players, thanks to LeBron, understand the power that they possess and can exercise to their full potential when in comes to free agency. Sure, Oscar Robertson was at the forefront of the concept we now call free agency but it wasn’t until LeBron showed players how powerful they could be in 2010 that they literally took full advantage of it.

For years the front offices of these teams have been putting together teams and making the moves with some player input but it was never completely up to the player even though free agency existed. Now boyz are literally telling teams how it’s going to go down even when a boy isn’t a free agent.

Sure players have forced their way out go situations in the past but nothing like we’re seeing today. Anthony Davis told New Orleans to kick rocks in the middle of the season and they tried to play hard ball and still loss because the players have all of the power. So much so, that OKC didn’t even blink when Paul George requested a trade to the Clippers to play with Kawhi. They got back like a casino in Las Vegas but you get my point.

So I ask the question again, where are the haters this morning that should be blasting Kawhi for using his power to get what he wanted and for leaving Toronto high and dry? If that had been LeBron he would be getting killed on social media and by all of the talking heads for walking out on a city or better yet an ENTIRE country after winning a championship.

From a haters perspective what he did was worse than what LeBron did with the “Decision” because he dipped after winning a title and he walked out without saying goodbye. Where are the haters? Again, I love it because he owes Toronto nothing and he never chose to play there in the first place. He got traded there by the player hatin’ Spurs when he refused to let them force him to play on a bum leg.

He was a good soldier, did his duty and just happened to lead the Raptors to a championship in the process. Now he’s free to do whatever he wanted to do and he did it. I’m just not understanding why the haters aren’t hating on all of the power that he possessed to make it happen. Think about the amount of POWER that Kawhi threw on the table with going to the Clippers. My cousin Lovell Cox said it best on a text this morning “Kawhi stopped the Lakers hopes of a dynasty, put OKC on the path for a rebuild, ended any thought of a Toronto repeat and made the Clippers legit.”  Now that’s POWER right there. So where’s the hate? It’s because everybody has the right to do whatever they want to do but Lebron. Stop me when I start lyin’!
