UPSET ALERT: The Indiana Hoosiers are at serious risk of losing at home in the NIT! “Bad for Business”

BLOOMINGTON — The Indiana Hoosiers just couldn’t leave well enough alone. They didn’t make the NCAA Tournament earlier this week and jumped right into the NIT and for what? They aren’t going to win it and nobody cares about the stinking NIT anyway. I wrote a crazy Hot Joint hours before they played the opening game of the NIT against St. Francis (PA) entitled “Babies and Candy” telling folks that they were making a HUGE mistake by even playing in the stupid tournament because they aren’t going to win it.

I also told you that Romeo Langford would be out of his mind to play in it because it won’t improve his draft status and if nothing else it would lower it. Why? Because if he doesn’t completely show out against lesser competition he’ll be exposed and he could get hurt. Well…at least the dun decided not to play for whatever reason he gave to the media publicly and from all accounts he’s not playing today against Arkansas.

Now keep in mind that IU lost to Arkansas earlier this season with Romeo on the floor. Now they’ve got them again without him. Can you say UPSET ALERT? I can!!! This is the very reason why they shouldn’t have signed up for this foolishness in the first place. Take the “L” of not making the NCAA Tournament and keep it moving.

Now if they lose at home to Arkansas they kill whatever opportunity of signing any big time recruits they may have had on the table. You would have to be crazy if you’re a 4 or 5-star recruit to go to Bloomington when you can go to Kentucky, Michigan State, Duke, North Carolina etc. and compete for a national title EVERY year.

Show up in Bloomington and you may not even make the darn tournament. Who does that? All of that hype to get Romeo Langford and they’re playing in the freakin’ NIT at home while the rest of the world is playing in the Big Dance. Shaking my darn head and stop me when I start lyin’!
