Turnovers beat Purdue as Nevada runs out of the joint with the win! “Carelessness”

Nevada's Brandon Talton nails a 56-yard field goal to beat Purdue as time expires.

RENO, NEV. — The Purdue football season started on Friday night the same way it started last season. Giving the darn game away!! Last year they allowed a Northwestern team to walk out of Ross-Ade Stadium with a win they shouldn’t have had. Well playas…Nevada ran out of the joint with a 34-31 victory on a 56-yard field goal by Brandon Talton as time expired.

How did they get to that point in the first place when they started the fourth quarter up 31-17 blasting these cats? Well…like they always do!! Turning the ball over. Elijah Sindelar threw two interceptions which is his M.O. He put up crazy numbers finishing with 423 yards, 4 touchdowns and then throwing 2 interceptions with one coming with only 32 seconds remaining.

It was a all knotted up after the Boilermakers gave up a touchdown with only 52 seconds left with Purdue on the move. Sindelar throws the pick which was the 5th turnover of the night for the Boilermakers.

They lost three fumbles earlier in the night and still had a chance to win it until the final nail was put in the coffin as Sindelar threw the pick.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Jeff Brohm has this team at the cusp of being a juggernaut in the Big Ten. They’ve just got to stop shooting themselves in both feet. They’ve got crazy weapons on offense including Sindelar. He’s just got to be more careful with the football.

His receiving core is NUTS with Rondale Moore, Brycen Hopkins, Amad Anderson Jr, and the addition of freshman David Bell. They’ve got speed and quickness out of this world and the defense is good enough to win them games. They’ve just got to stop sabotaging themselves.

Nevada was a game that they had to win. Why? Because they were a far better team than they were. You’ve got to win the games that you’re supposed to win. PERIOD or like the lil’ homie say, PERIODT!!! Stop me when I start lyin’!
