ATLANTA — Here we go again… both Chick-Fil-A and Alabama needs their butts whooped for selling tickets and HYPE to this foolishness. It’s the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game in the “A” that is supposed to be a big game to pop the cork off the 2019 football season. Instead they bring the national powerhouse Alabama Crimson Tide in to play the darn Duke Blue Devils. WHAT!!!? This ain’t hoop season bruh. It’s football season.
C’mon! Duke? Don’t get me wrong playa. Everybody and their baby’s momma plays a cupcake to start the season. So I’m not trippin’ on Bama playing Duke. I’m trippin’ on them playing Duke for the Kickoff Game on NATIONAL TELEVISION. They could have played them in Tuscaloosa behind closed doors. Nobody wanted to see that foolishness. They beat them 42-3 in a sleeper. Duke is a basketball school not a football school. So why were they even in Atlanta?
At least bring in someone with a brand name. I don’t care if it’s an old brand name like UCLA, USC or Miami. Those programs are just down for the time being but they at least have a name for playing football at some point in history. Duke hasn’t been worth two dead flies since 1941.
I don’t want to hear another word about Alabama for the rest of the year if they agreed to show up and play that foolishness. Holler at me about them when it gets thick when the big boyz are left standing. Keep in mind that they got the brakes beaten off of them by 28 points against Clemson in the national title game. So please don’t start with the “they’re the best team in the country” foolishness after they beat a rudy poot.
As long as they’re dodging real competition don’t mention Bama. Stop me when I start lyin’!
