Several weeks ago I said that if I were Tua Tagovailoa’s advisor/parent we’d be shutting his season down just like Nick Bosa did at Ohio State last year. Tau had surgery on his ankle and they rushed him back for the LSU game. Boyz jumped all out of the birthday cake butt naked foamin’ at the mouth mad because I said it. All of those upset at the notion that I would suggest that he shut it down were only thinking about Alabama and not the player’s future.
Well playas…ole boy got hurt AGAIN on Saturday playing meaningless minutes in a meaningless game against a meaningless opponent. They were up 35-7 over ole dull Mississippi State running, as Nick Saban stated, a two minute drill. FOR WHAT?!!!! It’s week 12? Why does he need to practice running a two minute drill with two freakin’ games left to play in the regular season? Why? Just why?
That’s Nick Saban trying to justify why he just ruined this kid’s opportunity to get paid at the next level.
The dun suffered a dislocated right hip that could potentially end his playing career. It’s the same type of injury that ended Bo Jackson’s career. He potentially ended his career playing garbage minutes in a game that I could have been playing quarterback for Bama throwing with my little hand and won.
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Tua made Alabama millions of dollars over the past two plus years and now he could walk away with nothing but a degree, if that. And please don’t tell me that the degree is more important because in this situation with this kid it isn’t. Tell me that my degree is more important than me playing football because I didn’t have the talent Tua has.
Tua’s talent is way more valuable to him in terms of earning potential than a stupid degree. What the degree would pay him relative to the millions he stands to lose fooling around with Alabama is sickening. At some point y’all gone start listening to me. Stop me when I start lyin’!
