Tom Brady blows 4th and 6 and refuses to admit it! Bears Defense had a boy shook!

After dropping their first game of the season on Sunday to the Indianapolis Colts. The Chicago Bears showed a boy their bounce back game was tight as they knocked off Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 20-19.

They had Brady so discombobulated that the dun forgot that it was 4th and 6 with 38 seconds left to play. Instead of easily going for the first down he tried to get a chunk of yards when back up safety DeAndre Houston-Carson broke up the pass intended for tight end Cameron Brate. Ball game!!!

Brady immediately put up four fingers as if to say it’s fourth down when he’d just exhausted fourth down. Game over playa as the Bears take over on downs. He was as hot as a firecracker slamming his helmet on the bench and hollerin’ at everyone around him.

However, it was his brain fart that blew the fourth down opportunity and instead of admitting that he’s screwed up, he shifted the blame during the postgame interview.

“Yeah, you’re up against the clock and you’re up against the — I knew we had to gain a chunk, so I should have been thinking more first down instead of chunk in that situation.” Uuuuuh….6 yards wasn’t a chunk when Rob Gronkowski was wide open for the first down when you threw right over him playa.

He goes on to say, “I knew we needed a chunk and I was thinking about more yardage. It was just bad execution. We had a great opportunity there so … just didn’t execute when we needed to.”

Just admit that you thought it was third down. Then we can keep it movin’! The greatest quarterback in NFL history is human too. Don’t tell us that you were looking for yards instead of the first down because that makes no sense. If he were in high school or maybe even in college and gave that excuse we’d ride with it but not the great Tom Brady. No way.

This is the same guy that has orchestrated 59 game-winning drives in the fourth quarter or overtime, the most by any NFL quarterback since the AFL merger. This is what he does. He’s not out there operating like a novice. He knows exactly what to do. The Bears defense just had him shook and he messed up. It’s okay to say that. Great bounce back game for the Bears who are now 4-1. I know Chicago is going crazy this morning because it’s one of the best sports town in the country.
