With everybody and their baby’s momma, Uncle LeRoy and cousin Bam-Bam sitting on the edge of their seats. The Miami Heat threw three defenders at LeBron going to the rack down one point down the stretch and his basketball IQ forced the ball out to a butt naked wide open Danny Green to win an NBA title and the dun alligator armed it. The Heat added two free throws to the total and walked out of the joint with a 111-108 win to hold the Lakers off from celebrating their 17th NBA title. What a game!
Jimmy Butler was about to fall over in exhaustion when the horn sounded because he left everything he had on the floor. After playing 47 minutes and dropping a masterful triple double with 35 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists he was spent!!! And rightfully so!
It didn’t matter that LeBron on the other end of the floor did work too finishing with 40 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists. Miami’s role players played better than his. It’s a TEAM game and when the horses are running everybody’s gotta be running playa!
The Heat survived to fight another day closing the gap and making it a 3-2 series. They aren’t ready to go back to South Beach just yet. They were like, “We’ll see y’all on Sunday bruh!”
Miami’s entire starting 5 finished in double figures. Not only did Jimmy Buckets put in work but Duncan Robinson dropped off 26 points, Bam Adebayo had 13, Tyler Herro 12 and Jae Crowder finished with 11. They even got 14 off of the bench from Kendrick Nunn. A complete effort. Naw playa, they weren’t trying to go home Friday night.
Besides LeBron’s heroics accounting for at least 54 points (points and assists). Anthony Davis, despite aggravating his right heel, finished with 28 points and 12 rebounds. The only other Laker in double figures was Kentavious Caldwell-Pope with 16. Wow and that only loss by 3 points. Helluva game!!
Game 6 is Sunday night!! It should be FANTASTIC!!!
