CHARLOTTE, NC. — The Indiana Pacers snap a two game skid to pick up a much needed win against the Charlotte Hornets 115-104 on Monday night. Not only had they loss two in a row but they’d dropped their last four out of five games.

TJ Warren, who is a North Carolina native born in Durham and went to North Carolina State, was back at the crib and literally showed out. He led all scorers with 36 points scoring 30 of them in the second half. NUTS!!!!

His previous season high was back on Nov. 5 when they were in Charlotte again. He dropped 33 in a loss. Too bad they can’t play every game in Charlotte. That dun would be the league MVP.

After the game here’s what he had to say about coming home. “Just coming home and seeing my mom and dad in the stands, I just bring a different type of energy.”

He had some help from his friends too. Domantas Sabonis, the double-double machine dropped 18 points and 12 rebounds. Myles Turner came through with 15 points and 9 rebounds and Jeremy Lamb accounted for 10 points and 11 rebounds.

What was most impressive was the Pacers ball movement finishing with 31 assists for the night. Their rhythm is NUTS right now. The unselfish play of this team is outstanding. Hats off to Nate McMillan got doing an excellent job of coaching.

Indiana trailed by 2 at the break but a huge third quarter was the difference in the game for them. They blasted Charlotte 37-21 in the third period to take control of the game and improve to 23-14. Up next Miami at home on Wednesday.
