The Jay Graves Report

The Colts are the same HOT mess they were a year ago bruh! “Groceries”

DENVER, CO - SEPTEMBER 18: Free safety Darian Stewart #26 of the Denver Broncos is called for unnecessary roughness for tackling quarterback Andrew Luck #12 of the Indianapolis Colts as he slides for a first down in the fourth quarter of the game at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on September 18, 2016 in Denver, Colorado. Ernistine Rose, the feminist and abolitionist, once said, “Agitate! Agitate! Ought to be the motto of every reformer. Agitation is the opposite of stagnation – the one is life, the other death.” Henry Kissinger gave it to us like this, “A leader who confines his role to his people’s experience dooms himself to stagnation; a leader who outstrips his people’s experience runs the risk of not being understood.” Then Sydney J. Harris, the journalist, broke it down like a playa at a pimp convention when he spit, “The greatest enemy of progress is not stagnation, but false progress.”

Well playas…the Indianapolis Colts are victims of false progress!! They made some superficial moves, painted the joint and cut the front lawn. Comin’ out of the 2015 season they were a hot mess not only on the field but in the front office with Chuck Pagano and Ryan Grigson beefin’. Jim Irsay couldn’t make a decision as to who should be thrown out of the ride so he kept them both. The offensive line was terrible and darn near got Andrew Luck killed. Fast forward to Week 2 of the 2016 season! Chuck and Ryan are still in the same ride and Andrew Luck is still runnin’ for his darn life. And that’s the edited version.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The fact that the Colts didn’t address the problems that plagued them in 2015 is the reason why I’m still talkin’ about this foolishness. They’re goin’ to deal with the same ignorance again this year bruh! Yeah, we haven’t heard of Chuck and Ryan beefin’ yet because the season just started. But I bet they’re at each other’s throat on that freakin’ plane ride home from Denver on Sunday night. I’ll tell you that.

Why? Because Chuck’s franchise quarterback is still runnin’ for his life even after Grigson so-called went grocery shoppin’ in the draft last spring. Luck got sack 5 times on Sunday in Denver includin’ a dull strip from Von Miller with less than 2 minutes to play and down 6 points. That strip ended in a cat pickin’ it up and takin’ it to the house for a 34-20 loss. If Grigson is buyin’ the groceries then he’s failin’ to protect a dun that they’re payin’ $140 million. Unacceptable bruh!

Sure, the defense is a mess because boyz are banged up. There’s nothin’ you can do about that. Cornerback Vantae Davis (ankle), Patrick Robinson (concussion) and safety T.J. Green (knee) all are sittin’. Then CB Antonio Cromartie (shoulder) got hurt on the darn second play but did return in the second quarter. Rashaan Melvin left the joint with cramps in the third quarter.

Offensively, Donte Moncrief got banged up and left the game with a head and neck injury and right guard Denzelle Good didn’t finish the game due to a back injury. However, at the end of the day Andrew Luck still has to be protected!

Oh, did I forget to mention that the Colts still can’t run the football? They had a measely 83 yards rushin’ out in Denver which makes that the 52nd straight ball game without rushin’ for at least 100 yards. Unacceptable!! That’s either coachin’, personnel  or both. So one of the two of them or both are responsible for this foolishness.

I know that it’s early playboy but you can’t keep both of them when this Merry Go Around is over this year. Irsay’s gotta make a decision. They’ve already thrown Pep Hamilton under the bus last year when he wasn’t the freakin’ problem. The problem more than anything is protectin’ Andrew Luck and the dun buyin’ the groceries. I’m just sayin’! Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Spit: verb – to say

2) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

3) Put it where the goats can get it: verb phrase – to make it as elementary as possible. To put it at ground level so everyone can understand it.

4) Beefin’: verb – to have discord or to be at odds with one another

Luck: who started 5 for 18 before he engineered a couple of second-half touchdown drives. Luck completed just 21 of 40 passes for 197 yards and was sacked five times. Rushing yards 83 that’s 52 straight games without 100 yards.

Fewest yards in the first half since 2013. Only had 79 total yards and 29 rush yards.
