It’s OFFICIALLY time for Adam Vinatieri to go somewhere and sit down! “Shoes”

PITTSBURGH, PA. — Well playas…when the elephant is in the room squatting in the middle of the floor don’t act like you don’t see him. The dun is stinking up the joint passing gas and now it’s time to address his behavior. Adam Vinatieri is the NFL’s All-time leading scorer and he’s 47 years old. He’s done his thing and now in my Schoolly D voice, “Looking at my Gucci it’s about that time” for him to exit the building.

On Sunday the Colts lost a tight one in Pittsburgh 26-24 as Vinatieri misses a 47 yard field goal attempt with 1:14 left, that hooked left. Yeah I know that he just hit a 55-yarder to beat Denver last week to win their third straight game but he’s becoming too inconsistent.

Now of course, a 26 year old could miss the same 47-yard attempt. However, Vinatieri’s best days are behind him. That was his fifth miss in 17 attempts this season. That’s the most he’s missed in any season since 2012.

Why am I being so hard on him? Because the Colts have won five out of six games this season by a combined 19 points. All eight games they’ve played this year have been decided by less than a touchdown. Therefore, they can’t keep jacking around with a kicker that’s in consistent and literally falling apart before our eyes.

He’s 47 years old for crying out loud. He’s not going to get better. He’s only going to get worse because he’s aging by the minute. It’s officially time for him to go sit his butt down. I’m just sayin’!

He’s been great for the game and the Colts fans have enjoyed having him but now it’s time to hang up the shoes and let some young cat go to work. Stop me when I start lyin’!
