The Phoenix Suns are now two games away from winning their first ever NBA championship after a 118-108 win in Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night.

The Suns brought that smoke from the opening tip until the horn sounded with all five starters finishing in double figures. Devon Booker led the way with 31 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds. Mikal Bridges followed with 27 points as Chris Paul dropped off a solid 23 points and 8 assists. Jae Crowder came through with a solid 11 points and 10 rebounds as Deandre Ayton finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds. All of the SMOKE!!!

The Suns shot 49 percent from the field and a whopping 50 percent from beyond the arc.

They kept the Milwaukee Bucks at bay the entire night despite Giannis Antetokounmpo filling it up with 42 points and 12 rebounds. He didn’t get enough help from his supporting cast. Only two other Bucks finished in double figures. Jrue Holiday had with 17 points and Kris Middleton only managed 11 and they got 23 points from their bench.

If the Bucks are going to make this series interesting someone other than Giannis is going to have to show up to work. Otherwise, this foolishness will be over in 5. They may win Game 3 at the crib just because of the crowd and the excitement of being back at home. However, the only consistent player on the floor for the Buck has been Giannis. One man can’t carry them past the Suns.

Again, stop hating on Chris Paul because he’s got a complete team in the ride with him now and a coach that is coaching his tail off right now. There’s no way the Suns don’t win this series playing the way they’re playing right now. Stop me when I start lyin’!
