Everybody and their baby’s momma, Uncle LeRoy, cousin Man-Man and throw in all of these media types too that are hating on Chris Paul now that he’s finally in the Finals. To a person, these duns are hollerin’ that the only reason CP3 is in the Finals is because there were so many injuries this season and in the post-season.
Ole boy is playing in his 16th season and he’s finally reached the ship. Stop hating on him. Attrition is just a part of the game. Players get hurt every season in every sport. Everybody that starts the season doesn’t end the season healthy. Stop it.
The Phoenix Suns and CP3 have done what they’ve needed to do to get to this point. Give them their props.
We don’t hear boyz hollerin’ “What if Magic wouldn’t have gotten sick and had to retire?” We don’t ever hear “What if Zeke would have been healthy in ’91?” We don’t hear boyz screamin’ “What if Bird’s back wouldn’t have gone bad forcing him to retire?” Jordan wouldn’t have won six titles or would he? We don’t know but nobody is discounting his success when we all know that other superstars were hurt. Why? Because it’s part of the game.
That would be hating right? Injuries have been forcing guys out of the playoffs and out of the league for decades. When it’s the next man’s turn it’s the next man’s turn. Period point blank!
It’s time for CP3 to shine whether you like him or not. If he wins a title this year it was meant to be. Stop hating on a cat that has persevered for 16 seasons and finally got to the ship. Let’s just seen how it will all play out but please stop hating. Stop me when I start lyin’!
