TORONTO — Everybody and their baby’s momma, Uncle LeRoy and cousin Man-Man were excited to hear that Kevin Durant was going to at least practice on Sunday with the Golden State Warriors. The team listed him as being questionable for Game 5 on Monday night.
When folks heard that he was questionable they went crazy because the Warriors are facing a must-win game as they are looking at an elimination game being down 3-1. Well playas…I don’t care if they list him as questionable, suiting up or playing the entire 48 minutes butt naked with some combat boots on. He ain’t playin’!!!
KD suffered a calf injury at the very least on May 8. With an injury like that the only thing you can do to help heal it is to rest it. He can’t run on it or ride a bike because he can’t afford to put pressure on the muscle. Therefore, he’s not in an ounce of shape and this is the NBA Finals not Ice Cube’s Big Three or Big Daddy’s Over 40 Rec-League.
So the Warriors can list that dun any kind of way they want. If he runs out on the floor he’s doing nothing but jeopardizing his career trying to help these cats do what’s virtually impossible.
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The only person capable of pulling off a 3-1 deficit in the NBA Finals is the Philistine, LeBron James, because he effects so many aspects of the game. Back in 2016 when he led the Cavs back from the depths of foolishness after being down 3-1. He led both teams in points, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals. And he played darn near every minute of every game.
There isn’t a player alive that can do that but him. We saw Steph blow his wad in Game 3 putting up 47 points and playing all but 3 minutes but in Game 4 he was shot. KD, when healthy, can score points but he’s not leading the team in all statistical categories and playing every minute. Stop it! Here’s the problem playa, he’s nowhere near being ready to play because he’s in no shape with absolutely no rhythm.
Did you see how Klay Thompson looked in the fourth quarter of Game 4 after only missing a week? He was at least shooting around during his lay off. KD’s done nothing for an entire month. He may as well start getting ready for free agency next month because trying to help the Warriors climb out of the jaws of the Raptors is a complete waste of time. It’s a wrap tonight.
