Richard Sherman pulled a Jussie Smollett on us and straight lied about Baker dissing him!

Immediately following San Francisco’s 31-3 win over the Cleveland Browns Richard Sherman told NFL.com that Baker Mayfield dissed him by not shaking his hand before the game. He was literally fired up about it too. The dun did an entire interview about ole boy NOT shaking his hand and how he felt about it.

He literally said, “What’s amazing, and annoying, was him not shaking hands at the beginning. That’s some college s—. It’s ridiculous. We’re all trying to get psyched up, but shaking hands with your opponent — that’s NFL etiquette. And when you pull bush league stuff, that’s disrespectful to the game. And believe me, that’s gonna get us fired up.”

He went on to say, “Respect the game. You can have rivals, but pay your respect in that moment… especially when you’re young. He hasn’t earned anything in this league. How many games has he won? He’s acting like he was the MVP last year. If Mahomes did that, it would be one thing. But he would never do that, because he has too much respect for the game. And when you see a guy who doesn’t? You humble him every chance you get. Because eventually, he will have respect for the league… or he’ll be out of it.”

Everybody and their baby’s momma, and daddy wrote about it because it was news. I even did a Hot Joint about it. Not 20 minutes after I hit post, a video comes out showing the pre-game hand shakes with the captains and the dun was actually shaking Sherman’s hand!!!

Therefore, Richard Sherman pulled a Jussie Smollett on us. Not only did he lie about Baker NOT shaking his hand but he trumped up feelings for this foolishness too. Did he forget that he was playing in the NFL and that every thing is on video? Really bruh? You’re going to lie on this man and think that the truth wasn’t going to come out? C’mon playa!!!

That was some foul mess right there. If you don’t like Baker just say that you don’t like him and then use the interview to say why you don’t like him. Don’t lie and say that he dissed you when he didn’t. That was weak. So from now on do we have to go check the video first to make sure that a player isn’t lying first before we write the articles?

What’s crazy to me is that NOBODY is calling it what it is. Sherman straight lied. It’s not a controversy like all of these headlines are reading this morning. Richard Sherman LIED about Baker Mayfield not shaking his hand. There’s no controversy in that. He lied and it’s as simple at that. Stop me when I start lyin’!
