Pacers get worked by the dull Suns without Paul George! “Sense of Urgency”

"Git off me young fella!"

As I’m walkin’ into Bankers Life Fieldhouse I see these three cats scalpin’ tickets and arguin’ about the sense of urgency. Les Brown, the motivational speaker, shouted, “We have to live life with a sense of urgency so not a minute is wasted.” John P. Kotter, th best-selling author and professor at the Harvard Business School, walked up on a boy and said, “A higher rate of urgency does not imply ever-present panic, anxiety, or fear. It means a state in which complacency is virtually absent.” Then Dave Ramsey, the financial guru, got rid of all of his tickets when he spit, “In order to be a great marketer, you have to be focused and intense and look at scarcity, urgency, activity and passion in the marketplace.”

Well playas…in order to be a great team you have to be focused and intense and look at scarcity, urgency, activity and passion on the floor. The Indiana Pacers were none of that on Friday night playboy. The dull 3-9 Phoenix Suns rolled into town and completely out hustled them on both ends of the floor to walk out of the joint with a 116-96 win.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Paul George missed the ball game with a sore ankle that’s been naggin’ him for about a week now. He’ll have an MRI on Saturday to find out if there’s more to it. Also C.J. Miles, who replaced him in the startin’ lineup, went down early in the ball game with a hyper-extended knee. So both of those duns will be in the van eatin’ Skittles and Lemonheads goin’ to get checked out today.

However, there’s no excuse for the level of play the Pacers exhibited without those two key players. Everybody on that roster is on scholarship bruh! So therefore, if nothin’ else there should be a sense of urgency EVERY time a boy hits the floor.

Let me put it where the goats can get it. It wasn’t like the Phoenix starters went nuts! It was the darn bench!! And that’s the edited version!! They scored an NBA best 78 points of the darn 116 that they put up!! Wheredeydodatat? The bench??!! C’mon bruh!

The young boy Myles Turner led the Pacers with 22 points and Jeff Teague dropped off 21 points and threw 7 dimes in the foolishness that was Friday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Rodney Stuckey saw action for the first time since openin’ night due to a strained hamstring. So his minutes were limited but they’ll need him now that both PG and Miles are snake bitten.

They go out to OKC on Sunday to visit Young Russ and Co. Good luck with that! Especially when boyz are not playin’ with a sense of urgency and down two scorers. Stop me when I start lyin’!
