MIAMI — When Lamar Jackson came out of the University of Louisville and entered the 2018 NFL Draft nobody believed he could play quarterback even though he’d won the Heisman Trophy. All of the so-called experts looked at him and said that he was an athlete but he wasn’t going to make it at quarterback.

Well playas…fast forward to the eve of Super Bowl LIV and the dun was walking out of the NFL Honors Award show with the MVP after playing his first full year at guess what? QUARTERBACK!!!!

He wasn’t drafted until the last pick of the first round by Baltimore and I know boyz were saying, “Yep…he’s not going to make it in this league as a quarterback. He needs to go on and move to wide receiver.”

One year later he destroyed the league by becoming the first in NFL history to throw for 3,000 yards and rush for 1,000 yards. INCREDIBLE. He also led the league it touchdowns passes with 36!!!

He becomes only the second player in NFL history to win the award with a unanimous vote. The other was Tom Brady in 2010. That’s NUTS!!! And oh yeah, at 22 years and 356 days old, he’s the third-youngest player to ever win the award. Only Jim Brown who won it in 1957 and 1958 was younger.

After winning the award Jackson had this to say, “It feels good when you can make those people eat their words.” Drop the mic!!!
