Jacoby Brissett has won over the “I want my money back” Colts fans in just three weeks! “Ballin’!”

INDIANAPOLIS — When the news leaked that Andrew Luck was about to retire Colts fans lost it. They started booing the man and most of them spent the following day calling the franchise ticket office demanding their money back on the season tickets they’d just purchased.

Well playas…fast forward to Week 3 of the regular season and all of those bitter “I want my money back” fans are singing the praises of Jacoby Brissett right now. If not for the miscues of veteran kicker, Adam Vinatieri, the Colts would literally be 3-0 right now.

They’ve been balling out with Brissett running the offense. On Sunday he got loose again completing 75.7 percent of his passes going 28 of 37 for 310 yards and 2 touchdowns. That’s NUTS!!!! For the season he’s put up 646 yards so far and thrown 7 touchdowns and only 1 interception. He couldn’t have come out of the gate any better.

The “I want my money back” fans are looking like some fools this morning. Not only is the offensive line protecting Brissett but they’re giving Marlon Mack running room too. He finished the day on Sunday with 74 yards on 16 carries. We haven’t seen a Colts running attack look this good for three weeks in a very long time.

This is the ultimate TEAM sport and Andrew Luck had to do what he had to do. If he was banged up and couldn’t go then he had every right to retire. When he decided to bounce I told you in several Hot Joints that the Colts would still make the playoffs because they had a good TEAM not just a good quarterback. Jacoby Brissett is more than capable of leading them if he has time to throw the football.

He’s got plenty of weapons to get the ball to including T.Y. Hilton. So sit in the cut, relax and watch these cats get down. They should make the playoffs with no problem. Playing in the AFC South always gives the Colts a chance to win the division. They’re currently sitting behind the Texans with the same 2-1 record and for some strange reason they’ve always got Houston’s number.

I bet those clowns that were calling about getting their money back a few weeks ago aren’t so willing to give those tickets up today. Stop me when I start lyin’!
