Giving LSU Players Bread: Odell Beckham Jr. proves once again that he’s an idiot! “Opening a can of worms”

Odell Beckham Jr., a former LSU receiver, giving money to LSU players. (Twitter)

By now everybody’s seen the foolishness of Odell Beckham Jr. giving some LSU players money after the game on Monday night. If you’ve been sleeping under a rock and missed it. Ole boy was literally on the field after the game handing cats wads of cash as he dapped them up.

Then on Tuesday morning officials from LSU were in damage control mode lying to folks telling them that Beckham was giving out fake money. Now who in their right mind believes that a dun that is addicted to show boating is walking around with fake money? I’m listenin’.

He’s the same cat that literally wore a $350,000 watch in a real NFL football game this season. So you want me to believe that he’s walking around with fake bread? Stop it.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The crazy thing about this story is the amount of idiots that are actually writing articles about how cool it was that he was giving the players money. They were saying that it was a cool celebration.

It would have been cool if he’d done it in the locker room behind closed doors or in the dorm somewhere away from the cameras. However, he didn’t. He pulled the stunt on the field in front of everybody with a camera. It’s illegal to give student-athletes money like that. And please don’t tell me that the coach is making $5 million so they should get bread too.

Until the rules change, it’s illegal. Don’t tell me about the freakin’ coach getting money because that’s his job. He’s supposed to get money because he signed a freakin’ contract to get paid. I’ve got no problem with the players getting bread but you’ve got to give it to them behind closed doors. Why? Because it’s illegal to just hand them money after the darn game on the field.

Let’s say that he gave an underclassman a hand full of money. Now that kid has a problem with the NCAA and could be subjected to a suspension for taking the darn money and he wasn’t even looking for it.

All Odell did was open the door for an NCAA investigation into what else he’s doing at LSU. Stupid!!!! Why bring all of that type of attention to the program two minutes after winning their fourth national title in school history? He’s an idiot that’s why? Stop me when I start lyin’!

  1. Absolutely agree with you. The only reason he didn’t give it to em in the locker room or behind closed doors is cause this dude needs everything to be about him. He wanted the camera there to show HIM doing this. Now these kids (and the university for that matter) are gunna be under scrutiny. And for what? Cause this cat can’t stand it when the spotlight isn’t directed on him. For the record I believe it should be totally fine for these kids to get a few bucks or gifts or whatever from whoever, but the fact of the matter is that it’s not. It’s a well known violation. And if anyone should know this, it’s Odell.
