Georgia will have to beat LSU to keep Alabama out of the Playoff. “The Alabama Invitational”

LSU quarterback Joe Burrow (9) runs with the football November 9 against Alabama. Burrow threw for 393 yards and three touchdowns, and ran for 64 yards to lead the Tigers to a 46-41 victory — their first over the Crimson Tide since 2011. (Brandon Gallego/LSU Athletics)

Instead of calling it the College Football Playoff. They need to call it the Alabama Invitational and just play it in Tuscaloosa from now on. There’s nothing that Bama can ever do to be eliminated from it. They can have the worst schedule known to man. They can play all non-conference games (except the one that’s on a neutral field every year) against Boo-Boo State and the Little Sisters of the Poor at home and they don’t even have to play for their conference championship to get in.

Heck, we may as well not even play the regular season because in April it’s already been pre-determined that Alabama is going to play for a national title regardless of what happens in the fall.

These duns opened the season on a neutral field like they ALWAYS do. This year they played Duke of all people then didn’t play a real football game until the second weekend of November against LSU and loss. By losing that game to the Tigers they won’t play for the SEC title because it determined the winner of the West Division.

Therefore, LSU will play Georgia for the title in Atlanta. So if we’re doing basic math that means that Alabama will, at best, finish third in their conference. However, these media types have them currently sitting at No.5 waiting for a boy to lose to hop right in the back seat of the Big Body Chevy heading to the College Football Playoff.

Right now AP has it ranked this way: No.1 LSU, No.2 Ohio State, No.3 Clemson, No.4 Georgia and then Bama sitting in the cat bird seat. Like I said before, LSU and Georgia still have to play in the SEC Title Game. If LSU knocks off Georgia, Bama gets in AGAIN and they didn’t even play for their conference title. That’s if the rankings stay as they are right now. They’ll just slide up in the Chevy and it’s Chris Brown “On and Poppin.”

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! When they started this foolishness that is the CFP, the first thing they said was “We’re going to look at strength of schedule and conference championships will be weighed heavily.” What they should have said was “Except in the case of Alabama because we want those duns playing for the title EVERY year unless they lose 3 games.”

Both Utah and Oklahoma are sitting behind Alabama and they both are about to play for conference titles. If they win their respective conference championships it won’t mean jack squat because the committee is going to advance Alabama because it’s the Bama Invitational and not a legitimate playoff like they sold it to us in the beginning. That’s the travesty of it all. The ONLY way Bama doesn’t get in this year is if Georgia beats LSU. The Tigers won’t drop out of the Top 4 because they’re No.1 right now. They’ll land at No.4. It would be highway robbery for them to put Bama ahead of a one-loss LSU because LSU beat them head to head.

Therefore, everybody in America needs to become Georgia fans next weekend. The evil empire is lurking and Georgia is the only ones that can save us from watching Bama play for another title.  That’s the darn shame. Stop me when I start lyin’!
