Folks celebrating the Patriots loss has more to do with their frustrated lives than football.

When the clock read zeros in Foxborough. The Tennessee Titans led by Derrick Henry’s 182 yards rushing were walking off of the field with a 20-13 win over the defending Super Bowl Champions, the New England Patriots. Tom Brady’s last play was a interception and social media lit up like a Christmas tree.

As a matter of fact, it was like the Wicked Witch had just been run over by Dorothy’s house and all of the people of Oz were celebrating her demise.

The team that had been in the last three Super Bowls and won two of them was out in the Wild Card round. It was a haters holiday because only the haters celebrate when successful people fail. Folks that could care-less about the NFL or football, for that matter, were celebrating because the duns that usually dominate had been beaten.

Sure, the Titans fans should be going crazy after winning that game to advance in the playoffs but why was everyone in America excited that the Gold Standard had just loss? Please don’t tell me that it’s because they’ve been accused of cheating because those same folks celebrating would hate them simply because they win all of the time.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! There is no other reason to hate New England other than the fact that they’re the best organization in the league and probably professional sports. It’s no different than Duke basketball. Most folks hate them because they compete for a national championship EVERY year and most folks in the world can’t figure out how to become successful in their own lives.

I completely understand why Colts fans are celebrating this morning. It’s because the Patriots OWNED them during the Colts most successful run with Peyton Manning. That’s still a source of frustration though. So it proves my point again. Personal frustration is the reason why folks are celebrating them being eliminated from the playoffs. Those that aren’t frustrated could care less if they loss or not.

I know that boyz that grew up in ANY HOOD, USA will tell you that for years they never went to the ghetto to recruit players and that is 100 percent true. However, we only hated them because they won championships without recruiting in the hood. If they weren’t winning folks wouldn’t have cared that they by-passed the hood to get their players.

Therefore, anything that looks like success is frowned upon by people that are frustrated that they haven’t found success in their own lives. I know that I’m getting too deep for some folks but it’s the truth.

Why else would you care if New England gets eliminated from the playoffs if your team isn’t playing in the darn playoffs or more importantly the Patriots aren’t playing your team? Here’s another one for you, why are you celebrating when you don’t even watch football?

Sure, they’ve been caught cheating and doing some undercover foolishness but people would hate them for no other reason than the fact that they continue to win championships or because they simply show up in the Super Bowl more often than not.

In the 20 years that Tom Brady has been in the league he and Bill Belichick have won more regular season games, playoff games and Super Bowls than any other quarterback/head coach combination in the history of the game.

They’ve played in 9 Super Bowls and won 6 of them in 20 years! That’s NUTS!!! He’s darn near in the Super Bowl every other year. That’s INSANE and that ain’t because he’s getting signals or deflating balls in the locker room playa. He’s better than the rest and that’s why folks hate him.

They’re still the best to ever do it. Why? Because you can’t tell me that New England are the only cats in the NFL running game to get signals and game plans from their opponents. Even if you know what the other team is about to do. You’ve still got to be able to stop them. Executing the game plan is 90 percent of the battle.

If nothing else you’ve got to respect the fact that they’ve been consistent and consistently kicking everybody’s butt for the past 20 years. It’s going to be weird watching the remainder of the playoffs without the Patriots breathing down the NFL’s neck. Salute Derrick Henry and Co. for being able to go into a hostile environment and win. Stop me when I start lyin’!
