INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts snapped a two game losing streak by literally running past the Jacksonville Jaguars 33-13 at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday. They finished with 264 yards rushing. For the first time since Oct. 6, 1985 the Colts had two 100-yard rushers in a game and it was only the third time in franchise history.

Marlon Mack got loose for 14 carries for 109 yards before leaving the game with what we know now as a fractured hand. Jonathan Williams took over to handle the business and finished with 13 carries for 116 yards.

It must have been old school Sunday because we haven’t seen the Colts run the football like that in years. Jacoby Brissett did what he does and that’s to manage the offense without letting the dishes fall off of the table. He finished the day throwing 15/24 for 148 yards a touchdown and a pick. His only touchdown was on the ground. The Indianapolis ground game was lethal with everybody getting in on the action.

There was a time when the Colts couldn’t bribe a boy to rush for 100 yards. I’m talking about the entire offense couldn’t gain 100 yards. Now it’s like Chris Brown in the backfield “On and Poppin’!”

With this win the Colts take over the AFC South with the Texans getting their doors, windows and transmission beaten off of them on Sunday 41-7 by the Ravens. They both are 6-4 going into Thursday’s match up. It should be fun to watch. Up next Colts at Texans on Thursday Night Football.
