Alabama LB trying to act like we didn’t see them get blasted in the national title game! “Stop it!”

Well playas…the college football season just officially kicked off as the SEC Media today went south with Alabama’s Dylan Moses taking the podium talking out of the side of his neck. When asked if he thought that his team was better than Clemson his response was, “During the game, we weren’t prepared for it. Clemson got the best of us that day. And kudos to them. But from that point on, we learned from our mistakes and we’re trying to get better.”

Then the home grown media-types started trying to water down the embarrassment that was the national title game. They tried to make it sound like we didn’t see what we saw by asking the dun if the 44-16 beat down that Clemson gave them was because of their lack of preparation? Really bruh?

Moses answered by saying, “It was more so just preparation. I wouldn’t say they were a better team because we both have great athletes on both sides of the ball. But it was like we didn’t prepare as much for Clemson and they obviously prepared for us. They game-planned better than us.”

Then they gave him the life preserver and asked if Bama was better than Clemson and he jumps into the deep end of the pool without it by saying, “Yeah, I think so. I have a lot of confidence in our team. I have a lot of confidence in Tua, our receivers, our offensive line, defensive line. At our best, yeah.”

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The Alabama media relations department should have stopped the interview as soon as the media-type asked him about last year’s national title game and redirected Moses not to talk about the foolishness that took place where they got the dog snot beaten out of them in front of the entire country.

To say that you were a better team is asinine!! You got beat to death and it wasn’t even close. Don’t tell me that it was a lack of preparation or game planning. That’s what playing the game is all about. Who cares if you actually think that you were better? The score board tells you who was better. Who cares if for the 10 months leading up to the game you’re better? If you show up and completely wet the bed on game day you weren’t better.

There’s an old colloquialism that says, “If a tree falls in the middle of a forest and makes a loud crashing noise and nobody’s around to hear it. Did it really make a sound?” That was Alabama in the national championship.

They hid in Tuscaloosa all season long playing garbage non-conference games. They play in the SEC West which is trash outside of LSU and they ran into a monster licking their chops in the title game. I said it all season. Now a boy wants to act like we didn’t see what we saw in the title game.

Alabama wasn’t even close to being as good as Clemson. Therefore, when someone asks about last season’s title game the correct response should be “We’re not talking about last year. It’s a new season and we’re focused on it.” Why? Because you sound like a complete maniac saying anything else.  Stop me when I start lyin’!
