LeBron’s one game from plowing through the West just like he did in the East. Now what’s the excuse?

THE BUBBLE — When LeBron signed with the Los Angeles Lakers in the summer of 2018. The goal was the same as it’s been for the previous 15 years at the time. It was to plow through the conference, get to the Finals and compete for a championship.

Everybody and their baby’s momma, Uncle Man-Man and lil’ cousin Budda screamed to the top of their lungs that he wasn’t going to do the same thing he was doing in the East in the West. Why? Because the West was so much stronger. The general haters consensus was “He’s only getting to the Finals every year because he’s playing in the weaker East.

Well playas…after finishing his first full season in the West. The Lakers were the No.1 seed in the conference and they’re one game from going to the Finals for the first time since 2010 after a 114-108 Game 4 win over the Nuggets.

So is the West considered weak now because LeBron has plowed through it? The only reason the dun didn’t do it last year was because he was suffered a groin injury on Christmas Day and missed 18 games. At the time the Lakers were two games out of first place in the West in less than two months of him coming to the West.

At some point cats will have to admit that his cat is the real deal. And please don’t start screaming that it’s only because of Anthony Davis that the Lakers are winning. No player can win by himself. However, LeBron is the common denominator.

AD was in New Orleans and couldn’t half make the playoffs by himself. So stop with the, “AD is the only reason the Lakers are on the verge of getting to the Finals” foolishness. Everywhere LeBron has touched down they’ve won. EVERYWHERE.

Boyz tried to run that same game about Kyrie being the only reason the Cavs won the 2016 championship. LeBron lead BOTH teams in points, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals in that series. We saw Kyrie for three seasons in Cleveland without LeBron. They were a disaster!!! Not to mention the fact that he was a disaster in Boston after he ran out of Cleveland. Now he’s in Brooklyn.

It’s time to admit that it has nothing to do with what conference this guy plays in. He’s the best player on the planet and the experts need to stop trying to anoint a new king of the NBA until the current one falls off or decides to retire.

In year 17 have you seen what he’s still doing to boyz? Did you see him shut down Jamal Murray down the stretch of Game 4 when it counted? Sure Murray finished with 28 points on 12 of 17 shooting. However, in the final two minutes of the game the 35 year old Philistine guarded the 23 year old phenom.

During clutch time which is defined as the last five minutes of a game when the point differential is five or less. He held Murray to 0-for-2 shooting. Ole boy scored 4 points in the last fine minutes but they all came from free throws.

This is a 35 year old man doing this in year 17. During this same postseason he’s shut down the best in the West but boyz wanna act like they didn’t see it. When LeBron has guarded Damien Lillard, Russell Westbrook, James Harden and Jamal Murray they’ve gone 14-for-38 (36.8%)  from the field, according to Second Spectrum.

When he contests shots in the fourth quarter/overtime this postseason, the players he’s guarding have shot 7-for-28 (25%) . This is in the West and he’s 35 years old. Stop with this foolishness and you can stop me when I start lyin’!
