Russell Westbrook has officially averaged another triple double for the third consecutive season and boyz still don’t seem to be impressed. What!!? On Friday not even a minute into the game against the Detroit Pistons ole boy clinched his third year in a row averaging the ultimate stat when he hit Paul George on a pass that resulted into a bucket.

That basket gave him 730 assists for the season. Because he’s able to finish the regular season with a maximum of 73 games played, he can average no fewer than 10 assists. Simple math right? Right!!

Ole boy finished the night with 19 points, 15 assists and 8 rebounds as they beat the Pistons 123-110. Therefore, making his season averages of  22.9 points, 10.6 assists and 11.1 rebounds per game the ultimate stat line again. That’s NUTS!!!!

Everybody and their baby’s momma, Uncle LeRoy and cousin Man-Man is trippin’ over the fact that LeBron’s not in the playoffs for the first time since the 2004-’05 season and rightfully so. It’s been a minute since that dun has gone fishing in April.

Boyz have been going NUTS over the fact that James Harden is shooting the lights out of every NBA arena he’s set foot in this season. Folks are even in awe of what Paul George is doing this year as he’s having an MVP-type season as well. The Greek Freak is doin’ everything imaginable with a basketball leading Milwaukee like a general. It’s incredible what all of these guys have brought to the table.

However, why isn’t anybody excited about what Young Russ/Angry Man has done in these NBA streets? Stop the presses like the old timers used to say. Russ just averaged another triple double for the season!!!! Nobody had done it before him three seasons ago since Oscar Robertson did it in 1962. Now this dun has posted his third consecutive triple double for the season and he’s not in the MVP conversation at all? C’mon bruh y’all ain’t impressed with nothing.

This cat just put up 23 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds this season and y’all are giving him a 5. You know how the judges do in the dunk contest now days. A boy would do a dunk with 10 difficulty but because they’ve seen it before they’ll give him a 5. What!!?  Are you kidding me?

At one point in life, as in, up to three years ago, the triple double was the ultimate basketball stat. Why? Because folks weren’t averaging them for the season. It was like seeing the Loch Nest Monster or Big Foot because only the Big O had ever averaged one and he did it so long ago that it was like a myth.

Now that Young Russ is selling them like loose cigarettes it’s all of a sudden not a big deal? That’s crazy to me. I’m not saying that he should be the league MVP because he’s averaging a triple double but somebody needs to be talking about how amazing it is for him to be averaging a triple double in the NBA and he should be in the MVP conversation. Are you kidding me?
