Jamais Cascio once said, “Resilience is all about being able to overcome the unexpected. Sustainability is about survival. The goal of resilience is to thrive.” Jeremy Lin better known in New York almost 10 years ago as “Insanity” is finally feeling like he’s hit rock bottom because he hasn’t yet this summer signed a free agent deal.

Ole boy is fresh off of winning an NBA championship with the Toronto Raptors this past season but he’s yet to land a new deal anywhere in the league. While speaking in Asia trying to motivate others on being resilient in a speech called “The Waiting Game,” in which he tries to offer hope to those that can relate.

He explained how “Every year it gets harder” speaking about his NBA future in Taiwan to GOOD TV a Christian outlet. He goes on to say, “In English there’s a saying and it says once you hit rock bottom, the only way is up. But rock bottom just seems to keep getting more and more rock bottom for me. So, free agency has been tough. Because I feel like in some ways the NBA’s kind of given up on me.”

Since he had boyz going crazy with the whole Linsanity buzz with the Knicks he’s played for 8 different teams in 9 years. He’s averaged 11.6 points and 4.3 assists in his career. However, he hasn’t started more than three games in a season since he played for the Nets in 2016-17.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! That all sounds sad and depressing but Jeremy Lin wasn’t even supposed to be in the league bruh. Nobody had ever heard of Jeremy Lin until he showed up in Madison Square Garden with a degree in hand from Harvard. You read that right. The dun graduated from Harvard and then made an NBA roster and has not only played for 9 seasons but he’s won an NBA title.

Who’s feeling sorry for Jeremy Lin? The dun has a net worth of more than $36 million and he hasn’t even used the Harvard degree yet. Stop with this Slept Rock “Woozy Wowzy Woo Woo” foolishness that’s he’s hit rock bottom. He’s made a fortune before turning 30 and he’s yet to put the degree to work.

Don’t tell me nothing about Jeremy Lin hitting rock bottom. There are cats that are literally rock bottom that came to the league without a degree or any transferrable skills that have sprinted through all of their bread that are on their way back to the projects. That’s rock bottom. Now it’s their fault but I’m just saying. Don’t tell me that Jeremy Lin has hit rock bottom and he’s sitting on a gang of bread and a degree. He hasn’t even gotten started. With that type of bread and the connections he’s got from Harvard? He’ll be a billionaire before it’s all said and done. Ain’t nobody feeling sorry for Jeremy Lin. Stop me when I start lyin’!
