The NBA has placed Clippers guard Lou Williams on a 10-day quarantine after an investigation found that he was hanging out at Magic City on last Thursday while on an excused absence in Atlanta.
The league announced the quarantine on Sunday after Atlanta rapper Jack Harlow posted a picture of the two at the strip club. What’s so funny is that Harlow then deleted the photo from his Instagram page after he thought about it. The dun said, “That was an old pic of me and Lou. I was just reminiscing cuz I miss him.” HILARIOUS!!!
It was an old picture but ole Lou was rockin’ the very mask that the NBA has given it’s players to wear while in the bubble. I can’t make this foolishness up.
What’s even crazier is that ole Lou has the nerve to be fired up that boyz are clownin’ him right now. He spit some words at Kendrick Perkins for saying what was real. Perk said, “It’s disturbing when a Rookie in Zion Williamson can act more Mature than NBA vet Lou Williams!!!“
Lou tried to get upset with ole boy for saying what was real and came back with “15 years in this business and the most dirt you have on my name is stopping to get hot wings during a pandemic. Perk. Shut up. And stop laughing and saying it’s just tv when you run into me too.”
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! I applaud Perk for saying what was real. This is serious business out here bruh. It’s this type of behavior that can get the entire bubble shut down and can cost the entire league and it’s players a fortune.
Williams was excused from the bubble to attend a family friend’s viewing and not to hang out at the strip club. The NBA can’t afford to have cats galavanting all over the place doing whatever they want to “IF” they’re going to participate in the Re-Start.
I’m additionally blown away by the amount of cats trying to defend this foolishness. Paul Pierce was on ESPN’s “The Jump” on Monday night upset because ole boy got a 10-day quarantine saying what if he was having dinner at Ruth’s Chris and not Magic City?
First of all playa, he wasn’t at Ruth’s Chris! He was at the strip club. So let’s talk about where he was. Then the dun says that Lou is a grown man and should be able to go wherever he wants to go.
We’ll no he can’t bruh. If he’s going to participate in the NBA Re-start from the bubble he’s got to follow NBA protocol for participating. Sure, he can go and do whatever he wants to do but he can’t do all of that and play in the NBA right now.
And if he were at Ruth’s Chris and that wasn’t on the list of places he had permission to go he should have been placed on a 10-day quarantine for that too. Keep in mind that the NBA put Kings’ Richaun Holmes on the same 10-day quarantine for sneaking out of the bubble to get take out a few weeks ago.
I know someone is asking the question: What difference does it make whether he was at McDonald’s or Magic City he was going to be quarantined when he got back anyway. Yes, he would have been quarantined but for only 4 days as opposed to 10 and if McDonald’s was on the list of places he wasn’t supposed to be he would have gotten 10 days/ It’s called following the darn rules bruh.
So nobody cares that Williams was at Magic City vs Ruth’s Chris. He was where the NBA said he shouldn’t be. It’s just that simple…follow the rules so boyz can get through this. They can’t afford to have problems with an outbreak once they’ve gotten the place to zero positive cases in the bubble which is what they have right now. What Lou did was extremely selfish. Stop me when I start lyin’!
