Why anybody with a job would be crazy to go to Dallas! “The Jerry Jones Foolishness”

Everybody and their baby’s momma, Uncle LeRoy and cousin Man-Man are reporting that the Dallas Cowboys aren’t going to keep Jason Garrett. However, the Cowboys haven’t officially announced that ole boy was fired. His contract expires on January 14 so we know that the dun isn’t coming back.

Sure, everybody is reporting sources close to the situation are saying that he won’t be a part of the organization going forward but Jerry Jones needs to just say it so that it’s been said.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! This is the foolishness that drives me crazy about Jerry Jones. He’s dragging this thing out longer than it has to be. They’ve already met with the man on Monday and Tuesday and now the word is just coming out that he’s not going to be retained. What were they talking about on Monday and Tuesday. Either you’re going to fire him or not? There’s nothing to discuss.

We knew that the dun wasn’t going to be retained when the season was over after he went 8-8 and didn’t make the playoffs. However, that’s Jerry Jones’ fault. He hired him and held him hostage for the past 9 years by being the owner, GM and president of the freakin’ team.

Sure, Garrett will end his Cowboys coaching career as the second winningest coach in franchise history behind Tom Landry with an 85-67 record. However,  he only won two playoff games. He’s the second-longest-tenured coach in Cowboys history behind Landry as well.

That’s not saying much because Jerry Jones will run a boy out of town if they won’t allow him to be the puppet master. Both Jimmy Johnson and Barry Switzer came in and won Super Bowls. In fact, Jimmy Johnson won two in a row and he ran him out of town because Jimmy wanted to run the team his way. Jerry did the same thing to Barry because he only wants to win if he can take all of the credit for it happening.

Let me put it where the goats can get it. You would be a fool to go to work for Jerry Jones if you’re having success anywhere else. For example, Lincoln Riley leaving Oklahoma to even sit down with Jerry would be ignorant. He’s winning at OU even though he just got the brakes, doors, transmission and back seats beaten off of him against LSU.

However, he’s the CEO, GM and president of the Oklahoma Sooners and he’s only 36 years old. They’re paying him $6.5 million per year to coach the Sooners. He’s not spending a dime of that in Norman. The school is more than likely paying his mortgage because that’s what happens at big time programs like that. He’s not paying for a single meal in the state and he’s in charge of every aspect of Oklahoma football. Why would you leave that?

If he does leave for that job he’s crazy. He’ll be in an out of Dallas in a matter of three years and Jerry Jones will be dragging him through the mud just like he’s doing Jason Garrett today. As a matter of fact, anybody with a job right now would be crazy to take the Cowboys job. I’m talking about butt naked foamin’ at the mouth crazy for even sitting down with Jerry. Stop me when I start lyn’!
