INDIANPOLIS — The Tindley Accelerated School has named Omar Dillard as it’s new head basketball coach and boy did they get a good one. Coach O has been on the AAU circuit running Gary Harris’ Team Harris squad for the past five years doing a helluva job.
Two of his most recent players showed out during this past NCAA Tournament. Eric Hunter Jr. and Aaron Henry from Purdue and Michigan State respectively played significant roles as their teams advanced in the Tournament.
Tindley is getting a guy that is dedicated to coaching and teaching the game of basketball the right way. He’s a family first guy that embraces his players and will definitely get the best out of them on a daily basis. I’m looking forward to seeing Coach O handle his business at Tindley!!! Let’s do this MAAAAAN!
