The University of Louisville gettin’ rid of Papa John’s name makes a POWERFUL statement! “The Good Fight”

The University of Louisville steps up for what is right by takin' John Schnatter's name off of the football stadium on Friday. Big props you guys!!!

HEFELLOFFVILLE, KY — Big Momma used to always say, “Sometimes you can get too big for your own britches and at some point somebody’s gonna knock you down a couple of notches.” Well playas…ole John Schnatter, former CEO, former Chairman and now former namesake of the the University of Louisville’s Football Stadium is simply tryin’ to hold on the knot at the end of the rope.

That dun has messed up so bad that he can’t keep his name on anything this week. Neeli Bendapudi the president of the University of Louisville held a news conference on Friday to announce that they weren’t messin’ with Papa John’s anymore. Not only did they strip his name off of the football stadium but they stripped his name off of the Center for Free Enterprise inside the business school as well, effective immediately.

After ole boy admitted this week to usin’ the N-word durin’ a conference call, which was bein’ held to help repair his public image, the bottom has fallin’ out on his reputation.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The university ABSOLUTELY did the right thing. This is America and ALL people are created equal and should be treated with the same level of respect. If our institutions of higher learnin’ doesn’t set the example, who will?

You can’t run around talkin’ crazy bein’ a racist and be rewarded for it. Well…I guess you can if you’re the president and that’s the darn problem. When the leader of the free world can make openly racist remarks then it empowers other racists to follow suit.

Fortunately, we don’t have to go through the legal process of tryin’ to constitutionally impeach them from their jobs. They can be fired on the spot and their names can be stripped from atop buildings and structures. So don’t let the president get you in trouble out here because you want to follow his lead. There are still rules of decency floatin’ around where he’s followin’ them or not.

I’m glad that the University of Louisville stood up for their students but most importantly, their student-athletes. More than 70 percent of their football team is black and it would have been a complete slap in the face for those kids to play in a stadium named after a man that has the propensity to use the N-word.

Let’s keep fightin’ the good fight until we eradicate all of the racists from the relevance. Stop me when I start lyin’!

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Ole boy: noun – the person that I’m currently talkin’ about.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
