The haterism on LeBron James is mind blowing!!! Duns are dancing in the streets like the munchkins after the wicked witch of the East died now that the the Lakers have been eliminated.
First of all, the Lakers barely made the playoffs and were playing the No.2 seed. There is a reason for that. The Lakers had been banged up all season. So to think that they weren’t going to continue to be banged up in the playoffs is asinine. They were who they were all season. Without Anthony Davis healthy there was no way they were going to advance. True basketball fans knew that front the gate. This was simply a matter of formality.
What blows my mind are all of the duns hollerin’ all over social media that Jordan wouldn’t have allowed his team to lose in the first round. WHAT!!!?
We saw Jordan lose in the first round THREE times and he got swept TWICE!!! HE was 1-9 in the playoffs without Scottie Pippen. Stop acting like Jordan only played six seasons in the NBA. Let me say it again. HE WAS 1-9 IN THE PLAYOFFS WITHOUT SCOTTIE PIPPEN!!!
Up to this point in his career, LeBron had never even loss in the first round. He was 14-0 in the first round. He’s 18 years into his career before losing in the first round. Why? Because he can’t play 48 minutes a game in the playoffs anymore. He’s been in the league for 18 years!!! Jordan got beat in the first round as a young man not as an old one. Jordan was 21 years old getting swept. Stop this foolishness.
Just say that you don’t like LeBron and that you’re glad he finally got beat in the first round. You were tired of seeing him competing for a title every year. That makes sense but to say that Jordan wouldn’t have loss says that you know nothing about the history of the sport. By the way, did you see Jordan with the Wizards? Did you see Jordan’s teams before 1991?
If in your opinion, LeBron isn’t the best all around player you’ve ever seen. He’s darn sure the second best. There LeBron, Jordan or Jordan, LeBron and then there’s everyone else. If you’re arguing that you don’t know basketball.
