Now that the conference championships are in the books the Top 4 only has to make one change. No.4 Georgia got the breaks beaten off of them by No.2 LSU for the SEC championship 37-10. So now all boyz have to do is kick the Bulldogs off of the bus and add No.6 Oklahoma because No.5 Utah got blasted on Friday in the Pac12 title game by Oregon.
Now it should be simple. No.1 Ohio State, No.2 LSU, No.3 Clemson and No.4 Oklahoma. Anything else would be uncivilized. There are no other scenarios for this foolishness. Georgia did everybody and their baby’s momma a favor by folding like some cheap lawn chairs to LSU on Saturday.
Otherwise, it would have been chaos that nobody wanted or needed. You already now that they were about to try to sell us two SEC teams in the Playoff by excluding the Big 12 and Pac 12 champs.
Now I would understand the Pac 12 champ being left out because Oregon has two losses. However, the Big 12 champ, Oklahoma, is sitting their with one loss and two wins over a Top 10 Baylor squad. Thank God Alabama loss for a second time a week ago or else they would have been selling that foolishness to us even though Bama didn’t play in their conference title game. We’ve seen it before and they went on to win the national title too.
The announcement comes at noon today and anything other than the Top 4 I just gave you would be a set up.
Don’t try to move Ohio State out of the No.1 spot for LSU. They deserve to be No.1 because they were consistently the best team all season on both sides of the ball. They hadn’t faced an ounce of adversity until Saturday night when Wisconsin walked in with an attitude and went up 14-0.
The Buckeyes showed poise and rattled off a 34-7 exchange to get out of the joint. Don’t waste our time committee. Just drop it like it’s hot so we can move on with our day. Stop me when I start lyin’!
