The BUBBLE has made the NBA Playoffs more exciting! However, nobody’s signing up to do it again, especially the higher seeds! “NCAA Tournament on Steroids”

THE BUBBLE — Not only is the No.2 seed in the East (Toronto) in trouble but the No.1 seed (Milwaukee) is too. They both have been caught sleepin’ in the ride in front of the neighborhood liquor store by the local stick up kid. They both find themselves down 2-0 and now needing to win 4 of the next 5 games to advance. That ain’t gone happen playa!!!

Why? Because there is no home court advantage for teams in this year’s NBA playoffs. The fact that the postseason is occurring in the bubble on a neutral floor makes it difficult. The normal advantages that the higher seeds have are now stripped away. It’s anybody’s game now.

We’ve never seen both the No.1 and No.2 seeds getting their lunch money taken and kicked in the back like this because playing at the crib is a huge advantage.

It’s made the playoffs very exciting but I bet boyz wish they weren’t playing this thing out in the bubble. However, under the circumstances there is no other way to do it. The pandemic is no respecter of persons.

This is shaping up to be the best NBA playoffs we’ve probably ever seen. It has the feel of the NCAA Tournament but with 7-game series though. Who would have imagined Milwaukee and Toronto being in this situation under normal circumstances?

Folks take for granted the home court advantage. From an entertainment standpoint it’s the best thing ever to play this out on a neutral floor but it won’t ever be repeated. Nobody is going to vote to do this again because the local markets are losing money and the players on the higher seeded teams don’t see the advantage that they played for all season.

The arenas are empty and the local restaurants, hotels and bars aren’t making any money. If they were to try this neutral floor thing going forward teams would simply win enough games to make the playoffs.

You think you’re seeing guys sitting games out now and players resting? Oh, it would be chaos if the bubble concept were kept. As exciting as it’s been to watch no way would I want the neutral floor experience again. Keep that for the NCAA Tournament. Give me the live action and media seat at the games. The higher seed should have an advantage because they’ve earned it by winning more games during the regular season.

I’m enjoying what we’re seeing right now because I’ve got no choice. We’ve seen several Game 7’s already and the big dogs are getting ran right now in the East. I Love This Game!!! Stop me when I start lyin’!
