OG walked off like an O.G. after draining the game winner to save the Raptors! “Cool As A Fan”

THE BUBBLE — The defending champs dodged a bullet on Thursday night! Down 2-points and 2-games to none with a half second to go. Then Christmas came early. OG Anunoby drained a 3-pointer as time expired to beat the Boston Celtics 104-103 and then he walked off like George Jefferson! Like the old timers used to say, “Cool as a fan.”

They seemed to be dead in the water with .5 seconds left down by two as the Celtics brought in 7′ 5″ Taco Fall to guard the inbound as barely 6’0″ Kyle Lowry was taking it out. Now if Lowry is 6’0″ I’ve got two full arms!

Lowry makes an impossible pass over the giant across the court. OG caught it wide open and knocked the 3-pointer down to literally save the Raptors from going down 3-0 and no team in NBA history has ever come back from.

Being down 2-1 now they’ve at least got a chance of survival. In the post-game OG was like Denzel in Training Day, “Y’all think you can do this to me?You cats (edited version) will be playing basketball in Pelican Bay when I finish with you!” I’m joking of course but you get my point!

Yessir!!! This playoff BUBBLE scenario has been great to watch because it’s got and NCAA Tournament feel to it. You literally don’t know what’s going to happen at any time.

Toronto was literally about to go to the crib and now we’ve got ourselves a series. Well…we hope.

All five Raptors starters finished in double figures led by Kyle Lowry’s 31 points. Fred VanVleet dropped 25, Pascal Siakam had 16, OG had 12 and Mark Gasol came through with 10.

Kemba Walker led the Celtics with 29 points followed by Jaylen Brown’s 19. Up next Game 4 on Saturday.
