Stephen A. Smith being upset with Drew Rosenhaus for severing ties with AB makes no sense. “Business is Business”

I was watching ESPN’s First Take and the big homie Stephen A. Smith was upset with Drew Rosenhaus for announcing in a letter that he was severing ties with Antonio Brown. Rosenhaus is one of the biggest agents representing players in the NFL.

Stephen A. was hot because in the letter ole boy said that he was severing ties with Brown until he agreed to get help. Smith says that he should just tell the truth and say that he’s not representing him until he can make him some money. What!!!!? It’s all semantics bruh!!!

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Nobody’s out here working for free. Rosenhaus isn’t obligated to represent a player that isn’t working and refuses to comply with the rules of the world so that he can work. He’s never going to work continuing to acting a fool.

Whether he’s got legitimate mental problems or not, it’s clear that he’s got some issues. However, it’s not on Rosenhaus to make sure he does what he’s supposed to be doing. All he can do is suggest that he get help.

Unfortunately, he’s already shut everybody out already and that would probably include Rosenhaus as well. So for Stephen A. to be upset with him for walking away is crazy. If that’s the case he should be hot with the Raiders and the Patriots too.

They cut him because they didn’t want to keep dealing with the foolishness that was surrounding him. They’re in the football business not the “Let’s figure out what’s going on with Antonio Brown” business. They aren’t social workers or mental health providers. They’re in the football business.

If Stephen A. walked into the ESPN studios butt naked and started fighting and cursing everybody out in the building. He’s probably going to get fired regardless of what was legitimately wrong with him. If he got picked up by FS1 and then started posting videos to Instagram cursing folks out, getting into foolish arguments with his baby’s momma and cursing out the police. FS1 would terminate him too.

Why? Because they’re in the sports news business not the “Let’s figure out what’s going on with Stephen A.” business.

So to be upset with Drew Rosenhaus because he’s trying to make a living with clients that are trying to work is ridiculous. He doesn’t want to deal with the foolishness just like everybody else. Stop me when I start lyin’!
