PHILADELPHIA — Since the playoffs started darn near a month ago Kawhi Leonard has been like Debo rolling through the hood on Man-Man’s bike taking boy’z sneakers and jewelry and whatever else he wanted from them. Ole boy’s been on an historic run scoring at will. He’s been averaging 32.3 points per game and 7.7 rebounds.

He’s the only player in history to average 32 points and 7 rebounds on at least 58 percent shooting and 50 percent from behind the arc. That’s NUTS!!! However, during this series against Philly he’s been unconscious averaging 38 points per game on 62% shooting.

With the 76ers facing a “Po Pimp” Do or Die situation down 3-2 and Kawhi going crazy something had to give on Thursday night. They decided to throw bodies at him and double team ole boy which they hadn’t done the entire series. Doubling a boy can always backfire because you’re giving up uncontested shots all over the floor.

However, it worked from them as Toronto couldn’t hit an elephant in the butt with a base fiddle. Therefore, Philly got out of the joint with a 112-101 victory to force a Game 7 up north.

The Raptors missed 13 of its 20 uncontested field goal attempts in the first three quarters, including seven of its nine uncontested 3-point attempts. What’s so crazy is that the Raptors finished the season ranked 7th in the league in uncontested 3-pointers at 41.4 percent according to Second Spectrum and on Thursday they couldn’t hit water falling out of a boat in the middle of the ocean.

That’s the reason Philly hadn’t thrown multiple bodies at Kawhi up to this point. Toronto shoots so well when given the opportunity to knock down uncontested shots. Well playas…that’s got to be the game plane going into Game 7 too. They’ve got to force everybody else to beat them shooting wide open jumpers.

I’d rather do that than to allow Kawhi with the six to the back to just destroy me at will. He’s unstoppable!!! It should be good. Up next Game 7 in Toronto.
