HOUSTON — I don’t want to hear a another mumbling word about James Harden or Chris Paul or the darn Houston Rockets! For an entire year all we’ve heard was “If Chris Paul were healthy in Game 6 they would have beaten Golden State and would have gone on to win the NBA Championship.”
Well playas…Chris Paul was healthy on Friday night with James Harden having the best season of his freaking career with KD on the shelf indefinitely. That means that the dun wasn’t about to play for the rest of this series at the bare minimum. Steph Curry was O’fer in the first half and the darn game was tied at 57-57. If the best shooter in the darn league is scoreless and their best player didn’t even make the darn trip why is the game tied at the break?
Steph came out of Big Momma’s Buick with the hard baby shoes hanging from the rear view mirror in the second half and torched them for 33 points to send both Harden and Paul to the crib with a 118-113 win to end this foolishness.
I don’t wanna hear another syllable about The Beard or CP3 ever again in life. They had the best team in the league pushed up into a corner bleeding from the mouth with a boy handing you his lunch money and still got beat. Wheredeydodatat?
Sure, they scored crazy points in this game with Harden dropping 35 and Paul with 27 but they didn’t make the team better. They loss to a team they should have beaten at the crib with KD out. PeriodTTTT.
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Legends are made in the playoffs. Not in the regular season. Harden has been going NUTS in the regular season but when it counts in the playoffs he’s got to be able to advance when the best player on GS is back in Oakland bumping that Too Short “Born to Mack” icing his leg. And don’t get me started on CP3.
Steph tore their butts up to lead his Warriors to the Western Conference Finals. That’s what a real MVP does. KD’s down so he’s got to step up and he did just that. Ole boy dropped 33 in one half of basketball just to let boyz know. Stop me when I start lyin’!
