With five games remainin’ in the regular season the Indiana Pacers are rollin’!! After beatin’ the LA Clippers on Sunday for their fifth straight win 111-104 Nate McMillan has the engine purrin’ like a kitten. The Pacers are sittin’ in the fifth spot in the East and puttin’ boyz on notice in the process winnin’ three straight out west.

Victor Oladipo put on a darn clinic in LA Sunday leadin’ the Pacers with 30 points, 12 assists, 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Myles Turner followed suit with 24 points and 8 rebounds as Bojan Bogdanovic dropped off 15 points for good measure.

These Pacers aren’t playin’ around and have simply overachieved this season. Comin’ into trainin’ camp with no real identity and really no expectations of even makin’ the playoffs they’ve done a marvelous job of becomin’ a helluva ball club.

Who would have thought with 5 games left they would have 46 wins and sittin’ in the fifth seat in the East? I sure didn’t and anybody that says that they saw it comin’ before the season started is lyin’! This thing looked like a train wreck before Victor Oladipo put these boyz on his back.

It’s sure been fun to watch and it should be even more fun as the playoffs start. They’ve got some unfinished business to take care of with these last five games on tap. They’ve got the Nuggets on Tuesday on the road and then they’re back home on Thursday for Golden State. Stop me when I start lyin’!

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
