LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — After coming into the bubble with a burst of energy and going 3-0 the Indiana Pacers finally got a taste of some humble sauce on Thursday afternoon. The desperate Phoenix Suns brought that smoke as they handed Indiana it’s first loss in the bubble 114-99.

The Suns have gone 4-0 while at Disney World on a desperate tear to make the playoffs. They were in the toilet in the West and are now at least standing in front of the sink in the bathroom to make the playoffs.

With 2:10 left in the third quarter the Pacers were up 75-72. Then all of a sudden the front left tire fell off on 38th street for them and the Suns went on a 14-0 run to close out the quarter. They continued the madness as they went on a 7-0 run to start the fourth. That was pretty much it.

Indiana couldn’t find it’s way back into the contest with the spare.

Deandre Ayton led the Suns with 23 points and 10 rebounds, Devin Booker came through with 20 points and 10 assists as Cameron Johnson dropped off 14 points and 12 rebounds in the win.

Malcolm Brogdon led the Pacers with 25 points, 6 assists and 6 rebounds. Myles Turner finished with 17 points and TJ Warren dropped off 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Up next the Lakers on Saturday.
