CHARLOTTE — The Hornets finally found some rhythm and on Friday night put a bounce back game together to knock off the Pacers 108-105. After allowing Indiana to pull up on Wednesday night and get a “W” they settled down, shared the rock and played team basketball.

Led by P.J. Washington and Terry Rozier’s 19 points they figured out how to spread the floor to get other guys involved. They finished with a season high 35 assists on the evening shooting at 50 percent from the field as a team.

Indiana trailed for most of the evening and never really found a groove although they did have five players in double figures. Domantas Sabonis finished with 22 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Malcolm Brogdon dropped off 21 points and 8 assists. Myles Turner finished with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Jeremy Lamb dropped off 12 as Doug McDermott mustered up 11 points coming off of the bench.

The Pacers did an excellent job of sharing the ball and finished the night with 30 assists. However, Charlotte was in a groove that kept them at bay for most of the night.

Indiana has the day off on Saturday and will get back at it on Sunday when Joel Emiid and Philly pull up. They’ll have their hands full with them.
