INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Pacers pulled into Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Tuesday evening sitting on a two game losing streak after dropping games at Milwaukee and Philly. They had the worse team and franchise in the NBA showing up for dinner and the milk should have been spoiled. However, the New Knicks walked in with their own milk and cookies giving the Pacers fits. Finally once the smoke cleared Indiana was able to walk out of the joint with a 103-98.

Boyz were looking side ways at the Pacers but a win is a win is a win right? Bojan Bogdanovic led the Blue and Gold with 24 points as Darren Collison dropped off a solid 16 points, 9 assists and 5 rebounds. Myles Turner gave them 15 points and 9 rebounds on his way to Big Momma’s house to help the Pacers save face.

With the win they remain tied for the third spot in the East with Philadelphia even though they were just beaten by them.

Indiana struggled to get out of the car when they pulled up as New York jumped all over them like a swarm of bees trying to steal honey. The Pacers were down 29-27 after the first quarter and were only up 3 points at the break 55-52. At that point boyz are looking around like, ‘who’s this we’re playing tonight? Y’all did say that the Knicks were coming to town right?’

Nate McMillan had this to say after the game, “We have to play solid basketball for 48 minutes and enjoy doing it and not put so much pressure on yourself. Just focus on what we didn’t do in our last game and try to do it better in the next one.”

The Blue and Gold were able to stiff arm New York out of the way and still survived with a win. They won the game even though they shot a worse shooting percentage than their opponent from the field, three-point range and from the foul line. However, the Knicks committed double the amount of turnovers than Indiana with 20. That’ll do it all day long.

It’s crazy how some games seem to go crazy but you’re able to pull it out in the end. I guess boyz were looking past the Knicks to OKC coming to town on Thursday night. Well playas…you better put ya seat belts on tight because both Young Russ and Paul George will be in town for the roller coaster ride. Stop me when I start lyin’!
